I did a major booboooooo. I broke the plug that attaches to the sensor for the crankshaft position.
Is there anywhere to get a new one? Any fix that is known? The shell of the plug is gone.

Did you crack it, or it fell apart? If you have the pieces, plastic "weld" it with your soldering iron. ( Don't inhale.)It will look like ****, but should hold. I have plenty more stupid ideas if this fails. I'd try it.

well if all else fails, get some tab and socket wire ends, crimp them on each wire, and hook up each wire directly. It's not like you need the socket to make the connection - it just makes it a lot easier.

I don't have the black plastic surround, that actually does the clipping/holding onto the sensor. The pins and internal grommet/seal are still there. My concern is of keeping water/dirt out and keeping it attached. Would RTV or silicone do this?

ALSO....is the V8list down?

Ford has a new pigtail you can get. Beware the wires are polarity sensitive.
