ok, to make a long story short, my car will not start (duh)... It all started last weekend when I went to replace my oil pan gasket. After getting everything with the gasket chaned I realized that my fuel pump had died right after pulling the car off my ramps... Fast forward to this weekend, I changed out the factory pump with a 190lph pump from walbro yesterday(saturday) and took my car for a test drive and it ran fine. Today I drove it to work and back; again, it ran fine. However, when I went to start it this evening to go somewhere it started but then stalled out and died less than a second after starting... so now all it wants to do is crank... I checked the codes and all that came up was 543, the CE light is on only when the ignition is in the on position, it stays off while cranking.... so anybody have any ideas  I'm really starting to get P/o'ed with this car :madflame: :squint:

Assume nothing.

Check for proper fuel pressure.

Check for spark including proper timing.

Check for air (Crack throttle slightly while cranking).

At least one is missing. Once you know which is missing, you can focus on that subsystem to identify and correct the fault.

I'm thinking it's the fuel, I checked the fuel pressure at the rail last night and it was almost nothing, hopefully it's something as simple as a wire comming loose... I'm gonna look at it this afternoon after school... it'll be fuunnnn..... :banghd:

Trying holding the gas peddle to the floor while cranking it. (if there is fuel pressure of course). It seems weird to me that it would die like that. My Mom's old SHO did that a couple times and it turns out it flooded itself some how... Good luck.
