I'm wondering what gasket I need to replace around the crank sensor that causes is it to foul out from time to time? Is this the front main seal or water pump seal?

Water pump has a seal and also a weep hole that leaks out onto the sensor. Get in there look around and replace everything (except crank sensor since they are drying up).

hopefully, it is easy for you to determine if you have coolant or oil that is "fouling out" the crank sensor.

my experience is that once you start having intermittent failures of the crank sensor, you need to replace it because it will keep getting worse, whether anything is leaking on it or not. in fact, nearly all the ones I had to replace were not being leaked on.

Thanks for the info guys. I decided to go ahead and replace front main seal and water pump seal both. Ive already bought the crank sensor and will replace that also.
