OK, so I tore my engine down for the front 60k, thinking it was the cps, and expecting to find antifreeze from a leaky water pump, not the case, looks like the water pump is fine. Car has 90k miles, so im not upset about coming this far, and this maybe not being my problem. Problem being, I have no spark !! Anyway, im gonna change the belt, pump, cps, and crank seal, however, I want to be ready just incase i get it back together, and still no spark. I tryed pulling codes, but the car has sat for 8 years with no batterie, so i would guess the codes are erased, still, it through 21 ECT sensor, and 24 ACT sensor, however, I figured these were because I could not warm the car up properly before pulling the codes. Question is what are all the possibilities, or ways to check to see what may cause it to not spark, if infact i get it back together and still nothing? Im not a fuel injection man, and am really not familiar with the sensors or whatever and how to check, or test them. I can replace them and do the mechanical aspect, but that is about it. I know with the vast knowledge of the SHO on this sight, you guys can come together and help me through this problem. thanks alot guys, any input would be greatly appreciated.

CID will NOT cause a no spark condition.

Click on SEARCH, select Advanced SEARCH, enter "no spark" (no quotes) and my username and list by posts instead of thread.

You'll find many of my previous discussions on this fault.

Sounds like the CPS to me, I had almost the same problem; except mine would run fine until the CPS got warmed up (normal running temperature) then the engine would cut out, and not start again until it cooled down, (while it would'nt start i had no spark) my water pump was also fine and was'nt leaking. replaced the CPS & it's been fine ever since

Crank Pos. Sens. or coil packs or DIS module.. If those are all good you should spark.

Change your oil before starting it. Even if you changed it when you took it out of storage. All that cranking probably washed a bunch of fuel into the crank case.
