cps ground wire question ?

The CPS gets its ground through the harness. The CPS is a dual Hall effect device and requires power. Don't have the color code info in front of me but one wire is +12V, one is ground, one is the PIP-DIS output to the DIS module and the last one is PIP-EEC to the EEC.

The wire in the second picture is the shield on the CPS harness to reduce the effects of electromagnetic interference on the CPS' output signals. The CPS and CID signals should be shielded all the way back to EEC.
