I was heading to a friends last night, and a DIB 2013-14 GT kept trying to get up next to me in town. I headed out to the highway, rolled into the throttle and he hammered down. I was in a pissy mood (never have children!) So what the ****, I matted it too. I pulled about a car length on him and held it to around 110. Let out of it due to catching up with other vehicles. He pulled up, gave a thumbs up, then exited.

I wasnt pissy any more, though! I kind of expected him to come around me on a rolling go.

My coworker has a 13' scared to race.. He thought it was a mid 12 car... I messed with him when my car was stock... He was very suprised I was right behind him not fading away

Same here... Only people I know.
One of my friends bought a G8 yesterday, we did 3 highway pulls and were perfectly door to door the whole time! (The stoplight race was significantly different.)

Having had a '12 GT w/ Brembos and 3.73s, I really expected the Coyote to beat me from a roll. I know what mine ran stock and I know what my SHO does.

Maybe I just have that elusive driver mod.

2012 GT - 2.03 60', 13.05 @ 108 mph
2014 SHO - 2.08 60', 13.76 @ 101 mph

I just took my 93 5.0 out for a drive, it's just a different kind of fast. Loud and sideways!! This time I actually left some tire on the road.. 1st time in that car.

The only things I've raced are an eciboost mustang, sn95 gt, rsx, and a couple Hondas. Had an srt 8, 3-4 rts, ss camaros and nothing. Even at the track no one will line up it sucks!

No it wasn't bad, that car got me from a roll, couldn't recover from that... At the track I beat him every time.. He was getting 1.9 60fts.. So he was not spinning.. It's a quick car though

Really?! I would expect to take an ecoboost Mustang on a roll...
What mods do you have done on the SHO?

Tune.. K&n... I think he just caught me at a bad rpm wrong gear situation. I ran a 12.9 he ran a 13.5.. He is tuned also

Ok good to hear!!!

Did you use the paddles? I swear my car is 25% slower when I'm in sport and using paddles!
I would go home and cry all night if I got pulled on by a tuned 2.3

I'm not discounting the Ecoboost Mustang... I'm a huge Ford guy!
Just would rather the SHO be the bigger animal

No paddles, just sport mode. We prob started about 30 mph. And it prob didn't go into 1st gear...

I would be more upset if I had a 5.0 and got beat by an ecostang.. Sho and mustang are not in the same category... Awd 4400lbs family car... Back seat in a mustang is as useless as the car in snow

Very true. I had a 2013 V6 6-speed Mustang that got traded in for the SHO... Glad I don't have that today because I'm certain those Eco's would be eating me up!
