So I picked up a 2012 SHO back around the end of September. Had it for less than a week and the trans cooler was leaking to the point the trans would hardly engage. Took it back to the dealer and got it fixed. Problem I have now is when doing a warm/hot start the car lurches, almost like you’re neutral dropping it. Only does it when hot so I’m wondering is this a fluid level issue or something more that needs to be looked into? Also there seems to be a leak in the trunk area around the taillights. Is this a common thing and if so what have some of you done to correct it? Thanks for the help

Water test the light housings. In the older cars there were mating gasket failures that would leak into the trunk. For the tranny, do you have a dipstick to check fluid level? Make sure that is correct and, if so, you will need a proper diagnostic.

Is the dipstick on this car a special tool? I just got rid of a sebring to get this and had to order the “Chrysler special tool” in order to check that one

It is also a common practice to overfill the trans by a 1/2 to full qt. Seems to cause more issues on tuned cars but shouldn't hurt.
