Just wondering if the corrosion along the lip of the trunk lid is a common thing or not. I have it on my car and was looking on ebay and saw another car with the same issue. Not a big deal to me, just curious.

It is very common because of the alluminum trunk lid. I have seen it on alot of sho's I have worked on.

yes.

I pulled one off a boneyard car and replaced it. Not a big deal at all...

I had to drill new holes to mount the skateboard, but overall it took about 1/2 hour.

okay, i think theres one at the local junkyard in my color, i hope it matches well. I just have to somehow drill the holes to mount the spoiler. I was gonna get the trunk painted but i think i could buy the trunk lid cheaper than having the thing painted.

It's not a hard proposition red, when the trunk is open, I think 2 of the 3 holes on each sice of the skateboard are centered in cutouts. Minimal measuring to do, and it was an easy swap. :thumb:
