Core support

Ok so I'm getting 38 inches from the firewall to the front of the core support on my gen 2. I am trying to pull out the core support with a come-a-long in my gen 1. Are the numbers the same between the two? I am also getting 38"s on the gen 1 now, but looks like the center of the core support (next to latch) is short about an inch. on my gen 2 the center length is 37 inches. The gen 1 is currently 36 inches.

Any thoughts?

I am trying to pull the core support back out where it should be and not where some accident left it. I have it pulled out I think...It's just hard to fine tune it to exactly where it should be.

Yikes, I've had to do that. I tied mine to a tree and backed up...what ever works...just make sure the core support is straight up and down when done and that the hood closes and lines up with the latch.
