Does the coolant in the reservoir stay stagnant? Or does it move through the system?
I ask because I replaced my reservoir the other day, and I added water and coolant to it to top it off. (I did a system flush over the summer: 50-50)
I checked the coolant strength in the reservoir tonight, and none of the balls floated... meaning that the water I added the other day hasn't moved through the system.
