ok i just finished the 3.2 swap into the new 95. the engine came out of a 92 so i swapped the engine harness and ac mounts/alternator. everything went accodring to plan and i used the 95 ircm box with the letter "D" on it. fired it up and it ran great but the cooling fans are not coming on. checked the plug and its not getting power. checked the fuse and it had power. i need to know if the sensors are the same and also what this might be... im running out of time with the convention starting tomorrow.

just for giggles i tried the old ircm from the 92 with the letter "M" on it and it wouldnt even turn on the fuel pump relay so i have no idea what is wrong. i talked to Alex, the previous owner, and he said he never had a problem with the fan so i am at a loss. please HELP ME:cry:

try running the codes in KOEO. That will kick the fan on for a short period of time.
Also, anytime you turn the A/C on the fan will come on.

thats another problem... i cant run the a/c because the blend door actuator is F'd up so no matter what the unit blows hot air on full blast. nother problem that will be taken care of later. anyone in the columbus or dayton ohio area have a "D" ircm that i can borrow for a day?

regaurdless of what the blend door does, the fan WILL come on. Try using the flr/def button. This is the one I use for driving around town (I have no a/c, just FYI)

Power the fan direct see if it works, and if its the only thing holding you back from leaving, hook it up direct and go, it will be a pita hooking and unhooking it when you going places but you could also wire in a switch. Just make sure you fix it. Guys at convention will prolly give you some advice.

got the fans to work... it was the temp switch in the water jacket... now the starter is toast, this is what happens when you finish building the car one day before the convention. doesnt look like im going to make it as after high speed testing i also have a front caliper sticking badly. i can hopefully have it all fixed and make up for tuesday on though. wish me luck
