COOLING FAN COMES ON WHEN FOB IS USED TO START CAR

Newbie here…I own a 2016 TAURUS SHO (non PP) with 110K +/-….whenever I used the remote to start the vehicle I can hear the cooling fans come on as well…dealership was not helpful with an answer so I decided to post my problem here. It’s the dead of winter here (Chicago, IL) and for the life of me don’t understand why the cooling fans would come on from a cold start.
any help would be appreciated…

The defroster uses the A/C system. The A/C system uses the fans. I am guessing the car is using the defrost setting either because that is where you left it when you shut it off or it is in Auto mode for the remote start settings.

Couldn't agree more with @Ta2dResqr try checking the settings on the left side steering wheel for remote start options and see what they are set too. If I recall the options are last settings or some system option.
