Well I finally ordered a replacement tank from Tennesseeautosales on ebay. Replaced the old one in 10 minutes or so and all is fine so far. This tank for the 24V motor does fit the 96 to 99 SHO for those wondering about that. The only thing I noticed was that the sensor plug faces the motor side of the tank, not the fender like my OEM one did. Not a big deal as the wire is long enough to plug it up either way. Light is off so far. Just a FYI for thpse that have been curious about it.
