I unfortunately was involved in a wreck with my 89 SHO in February of this year and have been wondering what to do with the Engine and Transmission which are still in excellent running condition. headbang I finally came up with this idea. I am going to take the engine and trans and put it into a 93 Ford ****** GT. I don't know how hard the conversion is going to be and i was wondering what you all thought. Any comments will be accepted and appretiated. shrug I know it kind of defeats the purpose of having an SHO but i love the car so much that i don't want to just let the powerplant go to waste

You are not the first one to consider doing this. Someone on here actually transplanted a SHO engine into a Mercury Topaz. I have heard of a few people doing the same to an ******. Even a friggin Ford Festiva!! Good luck, let us know how it turns out. thumb
