Hey everyone, I'm about half way through the front 60k service but I'm having a bit of confusion goin on. I've read that the marks on the belt should match the dimples on the cam sprockets but they don't seem to be. Another is the white marking on the crankshaft dampner. I don't see that, just 2 little notches about 60 degrees from each other.

I have the notch to the left lined up with 0 degrees marking on the lower cover and the cams are lined up top. Is this the correct spot for TDC or am I off? I font want to pull the timing belt off if I am wrong!

I guess there is 3 notches on the dampner but the one farthest to the left is what I have lined up and it looks to be at TDC.

The photos above are from my old 3.2 that's why the last photo shows the white mark not lining up properly. Normal belts have two marks for both motors.

Okay, this makes a bit more sense. I didn't see a notch on the crank sprocket, but I easily could have over-looked it. I'll have to check tomorrow after work! Thanks!
