Ok, so far, everything I've been told about my car has proven true.

So...Brake upgrade?

And are these Eibachs? Or is it possible to tell.

They are Eibachs, and it looks like a 96 brake upgrade. Just measure the rotor DIA to see if it is 11 5/8".

that's a 96 upgrade all right. a guaranteed way to tell is to see if FN-74 stamped on the caliper bracket. and call me crazy, but those look like tokicos...

they have the sticker on them and are blue, they most definitely are.

Also I'll confirm again that those are eibachs, and as far as the brakes, as stated above just measure the rotor diameter as it is hard ot tell from the pic. If the caliper is close to the outside of slicers though, then its the 96 upgrade, if there is an inch of room or so then it's stock, but the dead give away would be the measuring tape.

Thanks to all...I was pretty confidant on calling the struts Tokico's LOL:nut:

As for the rest, I was about 89 percent sure, but wanted ya'lls expert opinion :thumb:

And since I had everything torn apart yesterday, I figured I'd get some pics and be sure. The caliper brackets do have FN-74 on them BTW...

Ok, another question. Those of you who have run this combo, how well does it autox/ road course? I assume I have 24/26 sways. I've been impressed, but I've only pushed so far on the street( we do have some good mountain roads around here though:evilgrin: )

It should be ok for Auto-X. The tires are going to make the biggest difference. With that big of a swaybar up front the car might show some understeer as well.

I have (had) the same setup, but with a 21/26 combo, and a strut tower brace. It wuz awesome. Definitely auto-x worthy. But yeah, def. get a GOOD set of tires (and don't waste them in a burnout contest...) and maybe wider rims, and you'll be good to go.

Don't assume on the swaybars. They're not hard to measure, a few minutes with a caliper will make certain what you have.

IMHO a 24mm front bar is way too thick, especially with no Quaife.

Ha, well I'm so paranoid about the clutch and tranny, I think I've only barked the tires twice LOL. I have a set of BFG traction T/a's on it right now. I'm gonna have to replace all the bushings in the front end. Their all about worn out, probably why I have a pull to the left.
