2 Questions:

Was the same computer used for all MTX cars 92-95? I'm planning an atx-mtx swap this summer in my '94. Should I look for a '94 mtx computer or will the '92 donor car's computer be ok?

2nd: SHOSource states a 92-95 computer will be an upgrade for a '90. Is it a straight drop-in? Where are the computers located?

Main computer is behind the glove box. Secondary is in the engine bay, by the coil packs.
I know the ATX computers are different, but from what I read, the MTX's were the same in all the same. But if you have a good system in the 94, I'd say throw it in with the motor, to eliminate any possibilities of it not working.

There is an awesome thread on this forum if you search for it. It completely describes EVERYTHING you have to do in order to complete the swap from atx to mtx. That includes the computer and all wiring.

Ok, what's the control box in the engine compartment, next to the coil packs?
Thought that was a computer as well.

It's the ABS module. Which is a computer I guess. Is it standing vertically with the plug on top? Then it would be the ABS. If it's under the plastic shield along the top of the radiator, it's the CCRM.
