So next week I'm taking the Road Warrior to get her front repainted from the years off highway abuse lol. Since she's getting the whole front end done, halfway to the doors, (blended) I was thinking of having the parking light covers painted to match. Problem is, I wanted to see how it looks first, but couldn't find any pics. Has anyone done this to match theirs yet? All these post about trim painting and no pics of parking light covers.

So..... Good idea, bad idea? I know that's a lot of Ruby Red up front lol.

I did that because you couldn't find pics. I did it with Photoshop, selecting the bezel but not lights, pasting to new layer, and then colorizing.

Brighter colors require a bit more "painting" to simulate the reflective-ness of paint.

I did mine many years ago. Wasn't a big fan of the contrasting metallic silver, offsetting the metallic white.

I think it looks better matching IMHO.8f0deafe3ade2c9a6fdc6ad3740095b5182961da1c934bb19d1b1776a9a8d638641480821dbfb390382f5d0c4eb08b31

Well thank you for that. I do like the look and will have them painted since they'll have the paint mixed anyway.

Yes BP, I think it'll break up the black too. Thanks for posting yours. And good luck with yours.

So my paint guy got these back to me. I'm impressed and will install after I get the protection film on them .06a200944f10ce351845a72c9337958924e3d44ff395d23076262ea50a624921D97dc1fdfdd49a79486f1a7b0e23dfec
