cold plugs

does any one know if by putting in 3923 (one step colder) rob hourse power off the bottle because my car seems slower . they are double platnem autolights

Colder plugs will give you less power off the bottle.
Platinum @ N2O are a no no.

I'm pretty sure the heat range change should not make a diffrence in power, as long as the firing location is the same, that is you maintain the stock .133" center electrode stickout, which is a "power tip".

the autolite APP has a higher voltage requirement than a copper core or a finewire, so if you igntion wires and other parts are marginal it could misfire a little and reduce power slightly.

try reducing gap to .035" and clean and dielectric grease the wires. also consider running autolite racing 3923 or autolite XP 3923.

ok,thanx guys! i didnt know that double platnems are a no no , what kind of plugs exactly should i be running with a 55 shot of zex ? and as for my ignition,my plug wires are the 8mm talors and i also have the msd dis-4 retarding it by 1 deg at 4000 rpm's because for what ever reason my car likes it. posibly thats caused by all the go fast crap on my car
