Coilovers..

Ok I searched a Bit and decided to lower with coilovers. Were are some places that sell them for the SHO. Do I need to upgrade anyhting ele when puttin these on ? Thnx

Well you should upgrade the struts at the same time. Depending on how low you go will affect your aligment. For the rear you will need a camber kit or GTP cntrol arms. I am on Intrax springs and I need something like that. For the front you can just have strut plate welds ground off and rewelded. You can get a camber plate if you want, it might be recomended if you plan to play with the coilovers. I am doing okay but I do get some uneven wear on my Intrax. I would plan on doing it in the future.

Midwest does sell coilovers as well as Ground Control but they require some modifications to the struts I think.

Just for the record there is no need to reweld the front plates after grinding the factory welds. Just torquing the nuts down (to spec) on the plate will provide sufficient clamping force to keep it from moving around while driving (yes, even at track events).

If you swap the large-flanged factory nuts out and put on normal nuts then it's a different story.
