I would appreciate some help with deciphering these codes. What needs to be done?

First off my '94 MTX with 80K (30K since engine rebuild) every once in a while - but now just about every time I drive it - It feels like a cylinder (or 2) drops off line - Check Engine Light comes on - RPM drops a couple hundred. This lasts from 5 sec to 5 minute. If I shut if off and wait 5 minutes it starts right up and runs fine (for a while) except some times the Tach is working right away.

157: is MAF sensor below min voltage - I replaced the MAF sensor
which did not make any difference.

214: is Cylinder ID Circuit Malfunction - guy at the parts place said there is a chamber in the exhaust after the CAT that send a signal to the computer - I don't have a chamber after the CAT! Can't find any wires on the exhaust!

542: is Fuel pump Secondary circuit open - Ground - does this mean I need to clean the ground contact for the fuel pump?

Thanks !

1. Could be caused by a stalling motor.

2.Could be the cam sensor and/or it's wiring.

3.Caused by a stalled motor.

Diagnose the CID sensor located on the rear head on the front of the motor. It would be situated on what would be the end of the exhaust cam.

Slo-Sho,
Thank you.
Diagnosing the CID sensor is a little more than I can do so I'll look around for a good shop. At least now I know what to tell 'em to do.
