I recieved the famous 332 code. I have checked the EGR valve functionality by performing the "milkshake" test thru a piece of vacuum line. The engine idle does drop so I am assuming that the ports are not plugged? Would the next step be the DPFE or EGR pressure sensor regulator?

Inspect the hoses to the DPFE. They get brittle and break.

If they are okay, then the DPFE is the most likely problem.

If you ran the KOER test, you probably noticed a distince drop in idle speed at the time the EGR was being tested. If so, the EGR was operating (and the EVR is okay), then the error is due to the sensing side of the circuit.

Thanks. I will check the vacuum lines and boots.
Is there a way to test the correct voltage range of the DPFE sensor? Is the DPFE sensor the same as the EGR position sensor? Every part store that I have called refers to EGR position sensor.

I had my press. feedback sensor go bad on my 95atx.Pull the rubber tubes and look for a white chaulk substance in the tubes of the sensor. I think this is from moisture and chemicals in the exhaust reacting with the aluminum casting. After I replaced it I drilled the rivets out on the old one to see what it looked like inside. The small diaphragm in the housing was clogged up with the white chaulk. Good Luck! Richard

Yes

Yes, you can test the output of the DPFE. Unfortunately, the SEARCH fuction can't seem to find my old post on how to do it....
