I recently bought a 94 SHO from friends. Mechanically the car has been rebuilt but he couldn't figure out the following problem/problems.
The car has very slow pick up through out gears. At times it would kick in
and run correctly. He could not pull any codes. I bought the car and we were able to pull code 211 which is erratic or missing ignition PIP signal.
The crank shaft position sensor. There are other issues that I would like to know
if they are related to this sensor or are problems of their own.

- When I had the oil changed it was hotter than normal
- The Temp on the car was running 3/4 up on gage when driven more than a short distance.
- At times the car starts fine. Others it is hard to start or will not kick in and idle or take gas to keep it running.
- The car temp headed toward hot in third gear when it would not kick in changing gears. I quickly stopped the car and just as I stopped it was hot enough to steam. I did not drive the car in the red at all.
- When checking the radiator and refilling (small amount) with water the radiator acted as though it were clogged or I was told a possible cracked head.
