Code 211 diagnostic?

I've got about 500 codes, but the only one im concerned about at the moment is the 211.

Let me give a rundown of the symptoms:

Car randomly bucks/jerks (not a misfire, almost like you turned the key off/on)

Car randomly does not pull over 6k

Car randomly idles like shit; AF=lean

I swapped DIS modules, and coilpacks, and CMP sensor to no avail. I wanna say CKP, but I sure know from my experiences that they usually just die, or wont work sometimes.

Any ideas?

this sounds exactly like the issue on my 93.

It seems either the crank sensor has an occasional problem, or there is a connector/wiring problem on that circuit that causes the intermittent problem. The ones that aren't always there are the hardest to find.....

Yup. I guess I'll whip out the Vantage and scope the CKP on a cold start.

I had one a few years back with an intermittent 211 code and drivability issues. Found that the crank bolt was loose and the dampener had backed out enough that the CKP was intermittent...

Is the tack bouncing with the bucks/jerks? Or does it hold steady and just not increase rpm
