Clutch time?!

Okay i recently aquired a friends SHO its a 91 green plus!

It has the Spec stage 3 clutch but here is the problem! i can shift into every single gear but when i put it in gears the clutch catches on at 2500 rpm- before it was 5000rpm! it sounds like its in neutral and then it starts around 3500 and moves. any insight on what it could be? imput shaft? Clutch cable? and btw the car has a rod shifter and the gears feel the same when i put them in when the car is off!

Can you provide a little more info? What mods are done to the car? Dioes it shift the same if the car is off?

The car only has extreme motor mounts from shonut and a stage 3 spec clutch.. the car shifts in all gears on or off!

Sounds like its slipping badly. Time for a new clutch.

You can try adjusting the clutch to see if the cable is under tension. Just pull up on the pedal then push down on it.
