my money is on the clutch and TOB, I had this happen one time after burnign out throuygh 4 gears and I ground 5th adn then it wouldnt go in any more. I let the car cool off and it then drove OK, but I got my clutch and TOB changed adn all was well. BTW that burnout on the wet road was before I knew abotu SHOBOOM, id never do that now:thumb:

occasional rough shifts

Sometimes mine doesn't to go into gears smoothly, usually, it is a lot easier when the car isn't moving, what could that be? My motor mounts are getting bad, could that affect shifting?

Edit: Just out of curiosity, "SHOBOOM" means blown diff pin?

I did a search and answered my own question:doh:Uupdate on my hard shifting...seems that 1 to 2nd is the funkiest, doesn't do it all the time, stupid question: could I not be pushing the clutch pedal far enough?

I heard somewhere, can't remember wherethough , but if you pull the pedal up with your hand till it clicks then press it to the floor that should tighten it.
