ive driven 5 different mtx SHOs now.

The clutched engaged and dissengaged at different heights from the floor.

I would attribute it to wear on the disc, but even my '89, with a fresh clutch engages quite high

My clutch pedal has little to no play. Its almost as if there has been a stiffer aftermarket clutch installed. The former owner told me that it was replaced about 6k miles ago by the owner before him. Any local guys want to drive it and let me know if it feels right? shrug

When I first had my 9-puck fibertuff clutch installed I "thought" is was engaging in the middle. The more I drove it I started to notice it was engaging almost at the top of the release. Only a few thousand on the clutch.

I put a new clutch and cable in, it engages EXACTLY like it did with the originals.

It's engaging around 3/4 of the way after I'm releasing. I guess my auto-tensioner works.

The pedal feels solid the entire way.

EXP1787- What do you mean by no play?

If it's not engaging where you want it to, you can adjust it. Just be ready for some frustration...
