My SHO is ready for its second clutch job. First one was at 30,000mi due to an oil leak.(all covered under Ford warranty)Now 100,000mi later it's time for another. I'm from the Buffalo N.Y. area, has anyone near here had a clutch job done on their SHO? and where? Every where I call won't touch the car because it's an SHO and if they will do it, they want $800 to $1000 for the job.
I am pretty good with mechanical repairs and have done all of my own work on this car but removing the subframe & tranny to get to the clutch looks to be a bit more than I want to tackle on the floor in my own garage.
