Not sure if I need to adjust or if the cable is shot. My clutch grabs great, never slips no matter how hard I abuse it. The problem is that it starts letting out at the floor. Some time I have trouble getting it in gear because it lets out so low. Reverse grinds and the car will start moving backward with the clutch on the floor in reverse.

Thanks for the help!
Kyle

Could be the cable or clutch adjustment, but it is more likely the Throw out Bearing and the fingers on your diaphram clutch have worn, and it is time for a replacement.
You have some time left, so start pricing a unit.

Also my clutch will not adjust at all! I have pulled the pedal up and pressed it all the way to the floor board many times and it never clicks

Cable might also be worn. There's should be a bushing where the cable goes through the top of the transaxle case. Make sure it's there because if it's not, the clutch will act as you describe.

...

I checked and the bushing is still there, I cant attest to the condition of it tho. I am going to change it and the cable next payday.

Yep, it's definately new clutch time, and my pedal never adjusted from day one as prescribed. The cable ends wear, mine is still original at 188k.;)
