Clutch adjustment ?

does any one know how to do a Clutch adjustment on an 1992 SHO... well when i sift into 5th or rev it grinds and i was told it needs adjustment can someone help me out

just pull up on the pedal and then just push it to the floor you should hear a few clicks if it is out of adjustment.

if that doesnt work try changing the fluid. my pontiac used to grind when going into 5th until i changed the fluid. now it doesnt grind anymore...

its only 3 qts and could probably stand to be changed anyway if you dont have any reason to believe its been done recently.

when i pull up on it and push down doesn't make any noise and i cant fill anything. i will change the fluid and let you know..

if so it either oil wich i doubt

or bad beering or pressure plate

i never heard of a "beering", what is it?
its bearing

reverse will always grind enless you put it into another gear first, preferably 3rd.....reverse is not synchronized in our trannys
