clutch acting up..

Just started this afternoon...couldn`t get into first or second gear.
after a very worry some 45 min drive home 1st and second came back but,it feels like the clutch isn`t fully disengaging at rest.
Please advise

this is where it gets really strange...tried to go to work this morning and my sho wouldn`t go into ANY gear.After what SEEMED like a long time I finally crunched it into reverse..got out in the street,and fought like h_ _ _ to get it into second...But after that its been working fine(for now).I am getting a strange(throwout bearing) noise now though and think this may be it?

Probably the TOB wore through the pressure plate fingers.

Consider the ceramic TOB as this helps prevent finger wear, lets the pressure plate last

I looked up the throwout bearing at RCM and can see what you mean...
next.. since mine is a 1989 and theres no sense in not replacing the clutch and pressure plate..how do I know if mine is an 9.25 or 9.75 without seeing it

If the recall was done, you will have the 9.75".
