So I'm driving along and come to a stop light...slowing down...*small clunk*...fully stopped *CLUNK!*

My left front wheel makes a loud clunking noise every time I stop. Violent enough that you can feel it in the whole car and see the front wheel ****. This happened before but never this loud. Just did 96 brake upgrade and it seemed to get ride of the noise before. I just took it all apart to see if there was any apparent problems but everything checks out. It feels almost like the caliper is sticking? Griping tightly then letting go. I couldn't tell but it MIGHT of done it also wail turning right. Any ideas or experiences like this? Thank you in advance.

If the bushings are crusty, rusty, and torn, you will see all kinds of problems from clunking, groaning, and banging during turns and braking. You need to replace them. I recommend ditching the stock rubber and going for aluminum. For less than 100 bucks (generally 75 shipped) you can get quite a performance increase in handling.
