Today, my 95 MTX would not start. It would turn over really fast as if the Crank Position Sensor was bad but it isn't because I changed that 3 months ago. It would be turning over and then it would make a sound as if some of the plug wires were switched and it made a clunking noise. I tried giving it some throttle when it sounded like it was about to start but that would make it stall instantly. I'd let it sit for a minute and then it would start fine. It sounded similar to what it would sound like if the timing belt had broken but it can't be the T-belt b/c it still runs and when it's running, it runs fine.

Any ideas what this could be? Thanks

That could very well be the cause. The A/C was on when I was trying to start the car and now that it's off, it seems to be starting fine. At least summer's just about over. Thanks.
