I believe my cats are clogged, due to unburned fuel being dumped through them while one of the injectors was defective. I have had the plugs, wires, and injectors replaced. The last week that I drove it before replacing the parts, I was getting 12mpg. I have some smoke that floats up around the back of the passenger side of the engine. The car runs fine until it's warmed up, then the rpms are around 500 at idle speed. I looked under the body today and it looked like the smoke was coming off/around the cats. The exhaust sounds deeper
and it kinda putt putts out of the exhaust tips.. kinda like a tat tat tat.. I can feel it pulsing with my hand in front of the tips. Do you guys think it will be okay to drive about 30 miles like this? Or would i be able to drive it with the down pipe
disconnected? I can search on how to disconnect it, but is it very difficult? I haven't been driving it since it started this last friday. Thank you guys for any help.
