Climate Control Fan Problems

I have recently been getting an intermitent problem with my climate control fan in a 94 ATX. In the automatic temp position the system will be operating properly then suddenly the blower fan surgres to full high then normal then full high back to normal. This surge will last for 1-20 seconds occur several times and then will go away. Any thoughts? Thermostat?

Well it wont be the thermostat. It could be a blower control module or maybe even a temp sensor. If you look under maintenance section at www.shotimes.com there is a self test procedure that you can run, maybe that will come up with something.
