heyy guys, I opened up my hood today to look at something and heard a clicking noise while the car was running. I have no idea what it could be, but my friend told me that the injectors make a clicking noise sometimes. Im afraid that its the cams ticking or something like that. I have a video clip, but its not very good sounding. Im pretty sure the noise is on the top on the engine b/c its loud right around the silver fuel rail.

mine were loug till i replaced them, i don't think the loudness really effects the way the operate, just drove me nuts, sounds like a pushrod engine with a bad lifter.

If you're not welded, You're as good as dead. It's only a matter of time.

It might just be your injectors.....If you're lucky. My Ebony Satin 97 scared me so bad I was afraid to drive it to the nearest Camwelder. Turned out it WAS just my injectors being noisy.
Not good enough. You still don't want to be lucky number 778, do you?

Mine makes a click click sound especially when it's cold. It's also got other oddball noises like a whining alternator, groaning PS pump, and the burb burb of the exhaust.

Just something I got used to though... (the injectors that is)

yeah, i hate driving the car more than I have to for that reason. as for calling kirk, I plan on having the car out to Mass. when I get out of school. unfortunately I dont have the money to get the cams welded since I still owe 2 grand on the car.
