"Click" noise when depress/release brake pedal

When depressed about 80% of the brake pedal, there is CLICK noise from that area, then when release the pedal to the same position, same CLICK noise again. Once at this same location and only once every whole depress and whole release.

Before this, I empty the brake fluid reservior to replace the cruise control disconnect unit under the M/C. Air into the brake system?

Could air in the brake system cause the CLICK noise or other reason?

Its the lock, unlocking so you can only shift when the brake is depressed.

It could be the lock If and only if it's an ATX. My girlfriends 99 ****** does the same thing, only in park of course.

Yes, it's 93 ATX. However the CLICK noise happens every stop and go I made.

Anybody has the same experience?
