SWAP ENGINE!

hey Clay, remember when I said I wanted that 5.0 for my T-bird...you think now you'd be willing to sell it???:naughty:

Also, think maybe you'd like to buy my SHO (that 94 MTX I showed up to your house with)? Your dad seemed to like it. ;) I got full records on the car since 1996. I'm sure we can work something out...

PS: Congrats on getting your Green Machine running!

Ya, I'd like you show up to the meet. When and where? I looked the the last thread, but didn't really see anything concrete about time and location. Perhaps I missed it?

Just wondering clay...how much did you pay for you Explorer(s).

Cuz I payed 3K even for my Cherokee...:thankyou: And it's still moving right along every day...through rain, snow, heat...damn near anything...And that's 2 cars you've gone through since I've had mine...

Call it whatever you want, but don't EVER say Ex's are better cars...:thumb:
I paid 2200 for mine but that doesn't include the tires, brakes, sway bar end links, muffler, cat, rear carrier bearing, trans flush, CCV tube, 134 charge and a length of fuel line after my fan got hungry.

SWAP ENGINE!

OMFG, i am interested... Im looking at one in St. Louis, and this would be soo much better! How much are you asking?

well, i paid 3700 for the green one.. BTW thats still running, i talk to here every week basically on facebook, and it has upwards of 160k now, and i paid 5 for the black one, and that would still be running if my mom didn't total it. Now tim, doesn't your jeep need a rear main seal, u joints and a bunch of other stuff?? Plus you only have 117k id i remember right. so yes, i can say ex's are better... for you to say that your jeep is better on the fact that you still own it doesnt mean jack crap buddy... like i said, the green one is still running strong and winning races i hear.. Yea it has a loose timing tensioner, but that hasnt stoped it for over 20k now.. so, not to be rude, but pipe down...

BTW, i found out what my mom hit in the accident report. She was traveling in the left lane, had the seizor, floored it, swerved right, clipped an 03 camry, ran off the road, hopped a curb, went through a construction fence, a light pole, then caught some air and bounced off a full construction dumpster.. explaining why she landed on the roof!!! But OMG, that explorer should have been MUCH worse, along with my mother.. No offense, but lets see a Cherokee do that! :)

I sent you a PM. i still have the explorer. but i dont have anywhere to keep it to part out.. but thats an increadable price.. What would the price be without the cobra motor! :)

edit: If you have a place to part out cars, ill just give you the whole truck :). the drive train is in great shape, LS 3.73 rear end. Dana 34 front, 4r70w tranny in awesome shape. the interior is also in great shape. and it has TMA speakers, dyno mat and a few other parts..

Did you get those A-SFB in? also, what else did it need. I cant remember.. If it needed rod bearings, no matter what SHO i an getting i was going to get that done at the meet.

No Cherokee Driver would ever be a stupid as to drive that recklessly....ON road

Edit: and besides, the cherokee would have simply flipped over and come to an abrupt halt...VERY abrupt

and killed anyone in it....

edit: Im sorry, but after seeing and hearing what happened. im surprised even the explorer stood up as good as it did. I dont know if any car in its class could have done that well. (Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, Blazer, Pilot, Trail Blazer etc.)

She got lucky clay. I see now simply telling you you're wrong won't do any good....I'll just let you learn this life lesson all by your lonesome.

I know people that have been rear ended in their grands by somebody going at apretty good clip and them not having a lot of damage done to their vehicle. I think one guy got over a grand from insurance to fix a whatever damage was done but bought some offroad parts instead because he didn't dee the need to fix what little damage there was.

There was also somebody that backed into a miata with their grand... His tailpipe was on top of the guys hood.

My old boss rear-ended a Honda (little SUV) with his Ram 2500 Cummins deisel. The spare tire that was on the back hatch of the little Honda ended up against the bask seat.:oogle:

he was going 45, and the Honda was stopped.

Joe, i figured out what the problem with the electrical was. The dis ground, and the two ground straps on the front of the motor came loose. :0 tightened that back up and drive here around. BTW its the pump leaking where the tube from the tank bolts to the pump...

still loud as sin.. IDK if you remember that 300zx that was in my neighborhood. well, anyway, i guess he was having a z meeting there and i cruised by in first at about 3k and after i passed them i brought it up to 6 k with it on the floor!! :), chirped the tires abit too!! To bad the brakes are doing something funky or it would have been AWESOME!!

The brakes are acting up because you are missing a slide pin on the Right side!
