I mean the pinch bolt on the knuckle... I'm pretty sure thats the only thing holding it in. Our 2 year thing is on the 15th and if i don't have a car/something planned, im a dead man!! So yea. Any help would be MUCH appreciated.

second the buy a jeep notion. there are a couple SHOs on CL for 2000 or less. a few are in lincoln and they sound like they are junk, but there is one in CB that is probably the best of the bunch but the tranny is starting to slip.

I love explorers and all i have to say is ive gone offroading with my LTD while i still had it and i mustve pulled or pushed about 7 cherokees outve the mud or snow but never got my X stuck once. they ride amazing they have nice power and a mean ass sound. really comfortable and the only thing i hate about them was that premium JBL audio option that mine had, what a pain in the ass to put a new radio in idk what ford was thinking on that one. but anyway i agree that explorers are really amazing vehicles and i would take mine back in a heartbeat.

Yea. i had to call around ALOT to get the correct harness adapter... Yea, the other issue off-roading that made the Cherokee a little better was my wheel base is STUPID long compared to his! Yea.. i pulled a modded wrangler out of a snow drift with my SOHC V6!!
Again, to each is his own, and IMHO Ex's are better cars.. If i wanted an off road rig to beat the shit out of, it take a jeep... cause idc... plus, i dont off-road...
