I have assembled and swapped a 93 3.2 engine into my 37 Ford convertible. I bought it partially assembled (never again, a complete car next time). I am having problems starting it and realized the shutter was not installed for the CID sensor. Ford doesn't show it in the manual. I have the crank and cams set at tdc on #1 cylinder. Can anyone tell me the orientation of the shutter. I have a 50/50 chance of getting it right and I don't like those odds. Thanks

The big K dawg is correct, it only bolts to the cam in one orientation. We definitely need to see pics of this FrankenSHO.

The 1937 SHO roared to life today

I got the beast running today. The headers sure sound great. :woohoo:

I will resize the pictures to work on the site and get them uploaded. It has been an adventure getting it done. I have a few things to wrap up before I get it off to the painter then the upholstry shop.

I do get error codes for the transmission. Are there any easy ways to fool the computer with resistors, or can the circuits be turned off with a Tweecer?

If you do a search for ATX to MTX conversions, you should be able to find how to fool the computer into thinking that the original ATX is still there.
