I got some valve cover seals and plug seals from Keystone powdered coating and it was quick shipping ($79.99 shipped), but my plug well seals have small chips in them. They said I could send them back and they would replace, but I was wondering if this is normal. Its not on the part that faces the block, but its on the part facing out to the world. I just would hate to have to remove the intake again cuz of a leak. But i dint know if they usually come like this, cuz i need a 60k bad.

Like "very" thin loose rubber, like someone skinned it real close with a razor but it's still hangin on? If so, they're like that in all of the seals I've seen made by an aftermarket company, Ford ones are perfect without. I've always left them alone and installed as is with no problems though. You should be fine as long as all of the raised lip rings are there. :thumb:

As long as the surface that is doing the sealing isnt fouled, id say put those babies on there.
