I just pulled this off the rust free SHO I scored. According to the previous owner the clutch didn't last very long. The pedal wasn't adjusted properly so the disc was constantly slipping. The whole disc was gone on the pressure plate side.

The ***** also used a piece of wire to hold the tob instead of the clip. I noticed if the wire moved in a certain position the clutch couldn't release properly too.

I thought I read on here that Valeo is the only manufacturer of pressure plates on our cars. This plate has no Valeo stampings, it's stamped c122 IIRC. If you look closely in one pic you can see it. The disc measured 9 3/4" also I expected it to be the smaller clutch. I'm just curious not that i'd ever run one of these in my car.

All I have currently is a crappy cell camera. :banghd:

I've seen one. Pulled it from a junk yard car. The clutch looked almost new. Ended up installing it in one of SHOBills cars. I think that it worked out ok. The car had a shudder that we thought was either an axle or that chinese clutch.

Calling SHOBill...

Was that shudder resolved with an axle swap or is it the clutch?

I would honestly return it if I had received it in a kit.

I just find it disappointing that the chinese can make an aftermarket clutch pp, yet no one over here made one for our cars. I want an american made and improved pressure plate damnit!:)

Also more than once i've had shudders from like 4k-6k under hard acceleration in second that was resolved with an axle swap.
