This car is acting weird! My light decides it wants to come on after I shut the engine off and get out the car!(keys in hand) It will brighten itself, then go back to dim and repeat itself, all while the light remains lit.

This is the second time this has happened, probably 2 weeks apart. Last time it disappeared when I checked my dipstick. :oogle:

What can cause this thing to stay on when all of the power is off?

, i had something similar to this with my 93' ATX, but it did it when it was driving. Was going to fix it shortly but then the rod bearings went out. Thats very odd that it does it while the keys are off. A short in a wire somwhere? im lost on this one man

Hummm, wonder how that happened. Maybe it came on for a reason, like no oil!

I followed the wire, but it ran into a big harness. So now I have no idea where the wire would come out from. Everything looks normal, as the sensor is in place, but the problem occured.

Could the sensor cause this? I never heard of such, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Thanks
