ok, my CE light is ***. and I mean ***. It will come on for no reason halfway through a trip. but if I turn the car off, and right back on, the light will go off and it wont ever come on for the rest of the night. but if I turn the car off, and let it cool off, then turn it back on, it'll just pop up again. Uusually in about 4 to 6 minutes of driving. I'm not ever driving it hard. and I'm letting it warm up before I take it out.

I tried ot EEC test it myself, but I couldn't find my test wire, I haven't noticed any differences in driving and I seriously think it's just some dumb "Hey lets make Baldo Angry" thing. Tell me what you think. My buddy told me it's my O2 sensors... but then again this kid is an idiot and he's the one who broke my car when we were replacing the exhaust wink Tell me what you think.

CE lights have no sexual identity or preference. Your friend that breaks things on your car does.

As for the light, you need to find your EEC IV test connector. It should be back against the firewall or around the passenger side strut tower. It may have fallen from where it was mounted and could be hanging somewhere. To accurately diagnose your car now and in the future it is important to find this connector.

Learn what the EEC TEST connector looks like, where to find it, how to perform the tests and what the codes mean here. You will be very glad that you did. The CHECK ENGINE light is a valuable tool to diagnose engine control system problems. It is your friend and probably doesn't care for offbeat sexual references.

How old are your O2 sensors? They are a likely cause of the intermittent CE light without driveability affects, but don't guess, have the EEC tell you what went wrong.
