Two concerns that are annoying to me. I want to know if everyone else has the same "problems". 2016 performance package.

Does the heated steering wheel pulse when in use. Like it will get up to temp, cool off then warm up and cool off.

The rear sunshade on the backglass. First start up put the car in reverse and the shade motor atempts to close the shade. It makes a "tick-a-tock" noise. If the motor is replaced it goes away for a weeks. Module does not change the noise.

Thanks, -John.

I've never noticed that with the steering wheel. I don't ever use the shade so I can't help on that.

Steering wheel heats up, an internal thermostat turns it off, it cools down a bit, it comes back on. My 2013 did it, my 2016 does it.

My shade works fine, same with the 2013 - the 2016 shade does make a little more noise than the 2013 did. Does it WORK correctly when it's making the noise?

I just expected the steering wheel to work like heated seats I'm use to. A constant temp.

The shade works properly. It's just if I turn the car on and put the car in reverse. Once every ignition cycle the shade will attempt to close, even though it's closed.

I'll have to keep an eye/ear on the shade when I put the car in reverse. I'm just about to go on some errands, so I'll try to remember.

And I think the heated seats do the same thing - thing is, the "heat density" (or whatever you call it) is high enough you don't actually feel them turn on and off. The seats themselves do not cool of as fast as the steering wheel so you don't notice the heat cycles.

Others have had the clicking issue with the rear shade. A plastic gear or something like that breaks a tooth and starts making the clicking sounds. Some have just disconnected the power to it to fix the issue. Not cheap to get fixed at the dealer.
