I know the oil pan gaskest is easy... but while I have it off should I check the crank bearings on my 150K mile SHO? if so what would be the best way to do it? pop of a cap and look at it? or feel if it moves?

If you could feel it move, you're in big trouble already, heh heh. If you want to check it, go to your friendly autoparts store, such as NAPA, and get some plastigauge. Its cheap, and works. Pull a main cap off, and check it. Quick and easy.
