First question, has anyone body ever changed out the door lock on their gen 1/2. I know they both mount the door locks with pop rivets. Can you just pick up a pop rivet at the local hardware store to work properly? OR am I looking at some special ford unit?
Question 2... I have a Gen1 (91) SHO and am putting in a newer style (95)SHO doorlock. Will this work? Physically they are different and I need to splice in the connector, but length wise and mouting wise, and rod travel they seem identical.
Door is sitting apart in Garage, just need a pop rivet!!
Any help would be great.
