Center Console Chrome Latch

The plastic/chrome latch plate cover on my center console decided to come off today, the little tabs that keep it in the actual latch broke off. Do you have to buy a new center console lid or can you just buy the cheap plastic piece?

Find the little piece and solder it back on, its just plastic. Or use jb weld plastic weld and mold a small piece as a clip
