Help me try to get a performance part made for our platform...

So what I've discovered here is that, since Raybestos has created the part number for the product before it was actually released, it is in their "inventory" so to speak. Companies like transmissioncenter.net likely auto-populate their product offerings through their links to their vendors databases. This was probably an automatic product listing generated by their system. If you were to place an order, you'd likely get a response that they are on Back Order or with an unavailable date of delivery...

I've reached out to Raybestos again and they still say there has been no movement. Supply chain issues have moved everything back and tbh, I'm starting to get a bit worried...

Sucks but I hope it still pans out, at this point, at least for them to make good on their actions of taking it as far as a short commercial and part number created. To back out now would be an ethical issue I think.

Do you think there is any value add to all of us calling and perhaps show some numbers of interest? Yes, there is supply chain but there is also supply and demand that could drive supply chain priority which, I generally fear is pretty low for our platform LOL

Just to keep this thing somewhat going... I have had these on order with PATC since May and have already been asked multiple times if I am still interested in this order. I have said [multiple times] "yes" and that I'm aware that [unfortunately ] this product hasn't even been made yet and knew there could be a wait, but feels like they would rather I cancel it rather than have it hanging out there.

Oops maybe not I didn’t catch at first it said out of stock. Could call WITT and ask about if only their EBay store is out. But there’s a real chance their inventory sat around and didn’t sell so they halted production.

That’s the unfortunate reality. I don’t know for a fact but my intuition is ppl wanted to try them but most everyone didn’t want to drop the transmission and split it in half and pay a shop to install.

I’ve been watching your build, and following a lot of troubleshooting, you’ve been going through right behind you. I’m not as bad as you but I appreciate the foot mark you’re leaving for the community.

I got a 2016. Fbo besides meth atm Non pp Getting turbos made at turbo bay rn, and xdi 35 ordered but debating on evo vr 35 tbh because I didn’t want to blow car up lol.


But I can get the transmission broken down out here in Fl pretty cheap if it’s gonna allow reliability

Thanks. There was another member who did TurboBay and he ran into some issues. Hopefully (Matt?) at TurboBay builds your turbos without issue. It was @DDLopes that used them.

I’m not saying you will too but try searching TurboBay in the search bar and see if you find DDlopes talking about his experience. Just to give you some context of what apparently can go wrong
