CEL not coming on

Shouldn't the CEL light up when the cars is started and then go out? Mine is not doing this. How hard is it to change this bulb?

Yes, it should be lit as soon as the key if turned to RUN before the engine is started.

Click on SEARCH, enter "CEL IS MIA" and my user # for tips to diagnose.

To replace the bulb, you have the pull the instrument cluster.

its not hard at all to to take the cluster apart. this is also the best time to put in some after market face guage.

So in other words, try to pull your codes and see if the light comes on?
